Hiring a Domestic Helper for Newborn Care?

“I have childcare experience” is not enough information when you're hiring someone who may help care for a newborn.

Caring for a six-year-old and caring for a six-week-old baby involve very different routines and levels of supervision.

What age was the youngest baby you cared for?

Describe what you did for the baby every day.

How did you prepare and sterilise bottles?

How would you soothe a baby who continues crying?

What would you do if the baby felt unusually warm?

When would you wake or contact the parents immediately?

We Don't Expect a Helper to Know Everything.

We look for relevant experience, safety awareness, honesty and willingness to follow the parents' instructions.
